About Growing Southern Gippsland

Welcome to the Growing Southern Gippsland web portal, a collaboration between the Bass Coast Landcare Network, the South Gippsland Landcare Network, Federation University Australia, RMIT University and Bass Coast Shire Council. The portal’s aim is to be an enabling tool for Southern Gippsland farmers. It brings together regionally specific climate change information and best practice that can be used by the agricultural sector to help with climate change planning and adaptation.

Growing Southern Gippsland has been designed to encourage you to identify and target your own knowledge gap needs as you journey through the portal. The 12 case studies have been developed to provide you with local stories of practice change that you can identify with.

The Climate Adaptation Plan (CAP) has been designed to assist you to further investigate your farming property and develop a plan for your farming enterprise.
